Reading assess your ability to understand the written academic prompts. Questions can be based on humanities, science, medical and so on.

There are fair chances that you may not be familiar about the topic, but you will find the answers within the prompt itself. Reading has an overall time of 32-41 minutes depending on number of questions you get.

Multiple choice single answer

 In this item you read to read the passage and answer the question, remember only one answer is correct.

To select the answer, you need to click the left button on your mouse.

Multiple choice multiple answer

 In this item you read to read the passage and answer the question, here more than one options are correct. You need to select all possible options, but there is a negative marking in this task.

To select the answer, you need to click the left button on your mouse.

Re-order paragraphs

In this task you need to restore the original order of the texts by selecting text boxes and dragging them across the screen.

There are two ways you can move the text:

• 1. Left-click on a box to select it (it will be outlined in blue), hold the left mouse button down and drag it to the desired location.
• 2. Left-click on a box to select it, and then left-click on the left and right arrow buttons to move it across. On the right panel, you can also use the up and down arrow buttons to re-order the boxes.

To deselect a box, left-click elsewhere on the screen.

Fill in the blanks (drag and drop)

 In this task you need to drag and drop the words in the appropriate blank.

A paragraph will be given with some missing words, you are given possible answers underneath in blue box, these words you can use to fill the gaps, but they might have given you more words that gaps.

 In this task you need to select the best possible answer from the drop down list to complete the paragraph. Beside every blank there is one small button with a left click you can see all the option and from that you have to select the best possible answer.

Tips and tricks for reading 

1. Read the question before you read the text.
2. Look for the repeated key information or words in the passage.
3. When you do re-order paragraph read all the prompts before you start organising them.
4. Learn the collocations to maximise your score in reading.
5. In blanks read till 1^st full stop.
